A full-screen media experience that improves how users consume and interact with visual content across the platform. When users upload media to their posts, the content appears within the community and home feeds. My work focused on defining and optimizing the interaction that follows what happens when a user taps a media thumbnail to view it in detail.

This feature delivers a seamless, high-impact viewing flow that supports key product goals: increasing content engagement, strengthening community interaction, and improving media clarity. The full-screen viewer presents media at its best quality while giving users immediate access to essential actions such as reacting with emojis, reading the post’s text, and participating through a built-in comment bar. By streamlining this experience, the product now offers a more intuitive and engaging way for users to explore content and stay connected within their communities.
